Core Drilling- This technique is used when an exact circular penetration is needed through a floor or wall typically made of reinforced concrete, pre cast concrete, asphalt, brick, cinder block and other structural materials. Most depths and angles can be achieved.
Slab Sawing-This technique is used mostly to cut horizontal surfaces of reinforced concrete, pre cast concrete, asphalt, and other structural materials. Typically to cut trenches to run piping below grade. Also can be use for expansion joints, floor opening for stairwells, elevators, and duct work. Gas and electric saws are available.
Wall Sawing- This technique is used when vertical and horizontal cuts are needed through reinforced concrete; pre cast concrete, asphalt, brick, cinder block and other structural materials. Typically to make opening for doors, windows and ductwork. In demolition, we can use the wall saw to remove existing walls and/or foundations.
Floor Grinding-This technique is used when uneven concrete floors need to be finished to a flat smooth surface to grade. Grinding can also put a pitch into floor usually for drainage purposes.
Handheld Sawing- The use of handheld saws are applicable when conditions are not right for larger cutting equipment. This can be achieved with a ring saw, partner saw or chain saw. Handheld sawing is also used in conjunction with wall sawing to provide opening with no overcuts.
Breaking and Removal- Breaking is provided if other techniques are not applicable, such as jack hammering or chipping to expose pipes or rebar in floors and walls. We provide removal of concrete, brick, block, and other structural materials to on-site dumpsters or to an offsite location.
